When we heard about an event on October 14th called “Moving Day Boston” we just had to see what it was all about. As it turns out an IL&M family friend is participating this year! The National Parkinson Foundation’s Moving Day ® Walk is a fun, inspiring fundraising event that unites families, friends and communities in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Moving Day ® is more than just a walk. It highlights “movement” and exercise as a symbol of hope and progress because of its essential role in treating Parkinson’s disease.
