Arlington Food Scrap Drop Off!
We got an exciting piece of mail from the Town of Arlington yesterday. The Town is starting a food scrap drop off program! The Arlington food scrap program is open to any Arlington resident and the Town hopes to have containers in place by March of this year. So far there’s not any info on the Arlington town website (https://www.arlingtonma.gov/departments/public-works/recycling-trash-composting), but the flier we got says you can register by calling 781.316.3108 or e-mailing the DPW Recycling Coordinator Charlotte Milan at cmilan@town.arlington.ma.us.
We’re just a moving company but we’re excited to learn more about the program! We and most of our employees also live in Arlington so this stuff really matters to us.
